Your business is already working. You have customers, revenue, products, marketing, a team and probably more data than you know what to do with.
But growth has gotten harder. The moving pieces keep multiplying, your team is busy, new opportunities keep appearing, and somewhere in the back of your mind you know you’re leaving revenue on the table.
That’s where I come in. I help established businesses step back, see the bigger picture, identify the highest-value opportunities, and engineer a clear path to growth.

Success creates complexity. The more offers, channels, people and systems you add, the harder it becomes to see what matters most.

My consulting work is generally best suited for companies already generating $1 million or more in annual revenue.
That’s not an absolute cutoff.
But the more customers, offers, marketing assets, data and existing revenue you have, the more opportunities there are for me to find, optimize and scale.

If you’ve already proven people will pay for what you sell and now need to build a smarter revenue machine around it, we’re likely to have plenty to talk about.
If you’re still validating your first offer, looking for your first customers or working toward your first $100K, private consulting probably isn’t the right investment yet. XRO Insights and Blackbox are better places to start.

Some companies need better access to strategic thinking. Others need an independent diagnosis.
And some need an experienced revenue leader sitting at the table on an ongoing basis.
Blackbox is my private running record of the signals, data, ideas and strategies I believe business leaders should be paying attention to.
I post when I see something worth recording, not to satisfy a publishing calendar. Some days that may mean several entries. Other times, nothing for a few days.
Members also receive one substantial Blackbox Deep Dive each month plus a weekly recap of what happened inside the feed.

Sometimes the hardest problems to see are the ones inside your own business. You’ve been looking at the same offers, funnels, team and campaigns for years. I haven’t.
We begin with a half-day working session with the people who understand the business and can explain why you brought me in and where you’re stuck.
Then I step away, review the business independently, challenge assumptions, identify gaps, and find the opportunities I believe can have the greatest impact.
Sometimes a roadmap is enough. Sometimes you need someone helping make the decisions along the way.
A seasoned full-time CMO can cost $200K+ per year before benefits, bonus, equity and overhead. Large consulting firms can charge six figures simply to diagnose and recommend.
Fractional XRO fills the gap with experienced, independent revenue leadership at the level of involvement your business actually needs.

OVERSIGHT
Regular participation in marketing discussions, campaign launches, and funnel & strategy review.
What I Don’t Do
I’m not there to become another layer of management, take over your marketing department or spend my days managing employees. I’m there to bring an experienced, independent revenue perspective to the table and help your team make better decisions.
My primary focus is assessment, strategy and fractional leadership.
But there are several areas where I’ve spent years developing deep expertise.
00 For the right business and opportunity, I still selectively take on hands-on engagements.
WEBINARS & VSL FUNNELS
I Write the Entire Sales System, Not Just the Script
I take the funnel from concept through complete creative handoff. Your team handles design, technology and implementation. I handle the strategy and creative that make the system sell.
Offer Strategy → Script → Slides → Landing Page Copy → Email Campaign → Upsells & Downsells
Best fit: Established companies with an audience and/or ad budget and an expected promotion opportunity of $500K+ revenue.
Typical engagement: $5K–$25K+ · Limited availability
NEWSLETTER STRATEGY & MONETIZATION
Turn Your Email List Into a Media & Revenue Asset
I develop and operate newsletter strategies designed to increase engagement and create new revenue from the attention you’ve already built. Publish 1X to 5X weekly.
Editorial Strategy → Topic Research → AI-Assisted Writing → Publishing → Sponsorships → Affiliates → Internal Promotions
Best fit: Established businesses and publishers with 10,000+ subscribers.
Typical engagement: $3K–$10K/month · Limited availability
I believe in AI with a pilot in the loop.
AI is transforming what small teams can accomplish. I use it extensively and look for opportunities to reduce costs, accelerate execution, improve analysis and create leverage throughout the business.
But I don’t believe in turning your business over to AI. And I won’t hand you work that was simply generated by a machine and never judged by an experienced human.
The goal isn’t to use more AI. The goal is to use AI where it makes the business better.
AI strategy and implementation can be incorporated into XFACTOR and Fractional XRO engagements, including guidance similar to an internal Chief AI Officer.

Before I became a copywriter, marketing strategist and fractional CMO, I spent 25 years as an engineer.
Engineering taught me to approach problems differently. You don’t start with the solution. You examine the system. You gather the data. You find the constraints. You identify what’s actually causing the problem. Then you determine which changes will have the greatest impact.
When I moved into marketing more than 15 years ago, I discovered that businesses rarely approached revenue growth the same way. Instead, they jumped from campaign to campaign. Tried another funnel. Hired another agency. Added another tool. Chased whatever tactic was working for someone else.
That’s ultimately what led me to create Chief XRO.
I combine an engineer’s analytical approach with 15+ years of hands-on experience across copywriting, funnels, email, newsletters, offers, AI and revenue strategy.
I’m not coming into your business looking for something to sell you. I’m coming in looking for what you’re missing.
